“When you make peace with yourself, you make peace with the world.”
How do we become more loving to ourselves and others? Not in a sentimental way, but with strength and clear vision? This may be our deepest calling as human beings and it is perhaps the most challenging and rewarding work we can do. This workshop will explore this question through discussion and meditative exercises, engaging heart and mind. Insights and exercises from Focusing, neuroscience, compassion studies and research, and Buddhist metta practices will be offered. No Focusing experience required, all are welcome.
Andrew is a psychotherapist at Fenway Health in Boston and also has a small private practice. He is a Focusing teacher and has a special interest in mindfulness and mind body approaches. Andrew has presented workshops on Focusing, dreamwork, creativity, and transforming the “inner critic.”
