Focusing is a gentle, compassionate and non-judgmental way of giving attention to our inner experience. Focusing teaches us to listen to our inner knowing, to an awareness different from our everyday awareness, one that is in the moment, centered in the body’s sensations and open to its rich meanings. When we focus, we gain fresh perspectives on our life issues, whether big or small, joyful or sad. We slow down and attend to a subtle wisdom we discover inside, making room for change and growth, and often a sense of improved well-being.
This 3-hour workshop will teach you the basics of Focusing and give you opportunities to practice the Focusing process. You will learn to replace judgment with curiosity and instead invite compassion. There will be time for discussion and sharing.
The workshop is for those new to Focusing as well as those who have had some experience.
