Given affairs in the world, you might be looking for ways to invite more compassion for others and yourself into each day. Sources abound for doing so from Buddhist mantras and meditative practices on compassion to volunteer work and donations that reach out toward helping another in need. In this special program, we’ll explore how Focusing too offers us a goldmine of accessible compassionate practices to both approach situations with more compassion and to hold and heal hurtful experiences. We’ll try our hand at strengthening neural pathways toward more gentle, compassionate self-care and how that can lead to healing and well-being. I am excited to share with you how Focusing practices have gifted me with an embodied understanding of compassion from which I can draw at any time.
