Promoting focusing, listening, and personal growth in the New England area

Sunday Sept. 24, 2017: The Third Age: A Focusing Approach for Gathering Wisdom For the Journey Ahead

With Joan Klagsbrun and Cathy Cornell

Aging has, as one of its benefits, the possibility of wisdom. This workshop, for those who consider themselves to be in mid life or beyond, will explore the intrinsic wisdom we carry within us. We will explore what aging means to us and will focus on the how we have gained wisdom from our lived experience. We will then turn our attention to the future, and how, through Focusing, we can find personal wisdom for the journey ahead.

Joan Klagsbrun, Ph.D., a psychotherapist in private practice,  has been teaching Focusing internationally to psychotherapists, educators, healthcare providers and the public for over three decades on seven continents. Her current passion is crossing Focusing with creative expression and positive psychology.

Cathy Cornell, LICSW, is a social worker and a Focusing-oriented psychotherapist in a private practice in Wellesley, MA. She is a Certified Focusing Trainer and teaches Focusing to individuals and groups. She also practices and studies Buddhism.
