Jing Ye, MA, LCPC, FOT
Jing provides psychodynamic growth oriented sessions in person, via Skype, and phone, domestic and abroad. In her work, Jing combines Focusing techniques and the Healing Power of Unconditional Presence, as taught by John Welwood, based on Buddhist teachings and practice. Jing is also a long time practitioner of Insight Dialogue, as taught by Gregory Kramer. Jing is especially interested in working with challenges in interpersonal (including inter-racial) relationships, workplace conflicts, stress, anxiety, depression, cultural adjustment issues, and conundrums in personal development. Jing has been a Maine licensed Clinical Professional Counselor since 1998.
Certified as FOT in 2005. Studied TaiChi and ChiGong from a Chinese master and taught these for 10 years. For 20 years, daily meditation practice and yearly silent retreats with Buddhist studies have been pillars for personal and spiritual growth and professional work. Growing up in China during the Cultural Revolution with dictatorship and constant political turmoil exposed Jing to human made disasters and suffering, and helped her understand human conditioning and potential for change.
Barbara Kantner MA, LCMHC, FOT
Retired from a 20+ year psychotherapy practice at Southern New Hampshire Health Center, in which I used a wide array of interventions, especially Focusing, mindfulness, Somatic Experiencing. I am a certified Focusing Oriented Therapist and a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. Buddhist meditation practices are an integral part of my personal life. While my license to practice is still from New Hampshire, I am in process of obtaining Maine licensure. Married almost 50 years, adult children, grandchildren! Loving new life on the Maine coast!
I work with adolescents and adults in individual and couples therapy.
I believe change occurs in the context of a therapeutic relationship which is respectful, compassionate, caring, and interactive. By understanding and appreciating your strengths and your current ways of coping, listening with compassion and curiosity, challenging gently with humor and sensitivity, I will work collaboratively with you to help make your relationships more satisfying and your life choices more expansive.
I integrate Focusing into all aspects of my work.

Profile available on psychologytoday.com
I started my training in Focusing in 2006 and went on to become a Certified Focusing-Oriented Therapist in 2009. As my focus has always been on integrating Focusing into my psychotherapy practice, I have taught Focusing to clients, other therapists and to interested Focusers. I continue to develop my Focusing skills through a monthly FOT supervision group with a Certifying Focusing Coordinator.
In my practice, I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, and addictive behaviors. In addition to traditional talk therapies, I use Focusing in combination with EMDR, Mindfulness-based psychotherapy and mind-body awareness techniques to help connect to the wisdom and inner direction of the body.
I aim to help you to develop compassion for all that you are, even the parts you’ve long struggled to accept, so that a fuller sense of self can emerge, moving you in a life-forward direction.
I can meet with clients individually and in groups to teach Focusing.
I help people to reconnect with the life they would like to live. Through getting in touch with their emotions and releasing them, they can find a fresh creative energy within. Most of my clients seek help with anxiety, excessive worries, depression, trauma, addiction or just a difficult relationship situation. I enjoy connecting with my clients and emphasize the power of a strong therapeutic relationship. I don’t promote “talking” therapy only. As a Focusing Certified Trainer I invite clients to feel their emotions directly in the body, to achieve a felt shift, relief and attunement with their intuition. “One step in the body is worth a thousand steps in the mind.” (Eugene Gendlin)

Focusing provides many wonderful benefits, but my favorite is Finding-Fresh-Air in difficult dilemmas. By using my felt-senses as my GPS, I can uncover my very own small steps forward to creative options that give me a renewed sense of hope and resiliency.
Perhaps you, too, would like to gently explore how to find clarity amid confusion, comfort amid heartache, or laughter amid misfortune? I can be your Focusing guide to more Fresh-Air inside. I hold most of my sessions on Zoom.
Paula, retired from a thirty-year career as a high school and college English teacher, has a doctorate in Creativity in Education from the University of Massachusetts.

I enjoy collaborating with people in the design and facilitation of exploratory “deep dives” in group settings to:
-Engage social issues and collective healing (Social Alchemy),
-Access expanded dimensions of experiencing through Focusing and other processes.
Since 1985, I have trained in practices that encourage individual and collective emergence including Focusing, NVC, Integral Theory, Dynamic Facilitation, Open Dialogue, and Systemic Constellations.
I seek ways to bring together the energy and commitment of activists, the guidance and sensitivity of intuitives, and paradigms and processes from various healing traditions, to help us engage the intense challenges of our times.
I am an emergency physician in Western Mass.
