Focusing: A Mindful Practice of Listening to the Wisdom of our Bodies - Part 2 of a Class for Beginners

A 4-SESSION WORKSHOP FOR BEGINNERS

- VIRTUAL -

Monday mornings 9:30-11:30 on January 18, February 15, March 15 and April 12, 2021

Focusing is a gentle and compassionate way of listening to ourselves that is different from our everyday awareness. It is a mind-body practice of attending to how our body holds a particular life situation - a relationship, a joy, a problem. Whether the issue is large or small, Focusing reaches us how to access valuable resource that we all carry within, deepening our self-understanding, reducing stress, and often bringing us fresh insights. This mindful process can easily be incorporated into our everyday lives.

In this advanced beginners class you will learn about:

  • Partnerships and the Focusing Process

  • Clearing a Space

  • The Critic

  • Getting the Right Distance

  • Challenges to Focusing

Cost: $180 for the series
